The Lawn Games group meet every Thursday afternoon, 1pm-3pm, on the green space between The Berin Centre and the Church. Games like Croquet, Molkky and Boccia are all firm favourites, so come by for a game and a chat!

The Craft Group meets monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 3pm-5pm to try out a range of different creative projects - feel free to bring your own craft to work on, or take part in one of our activities from mosaic making to creating Easter hats!

There are times when we all need a bit of extra support - whatever you’re grappling with, whether it’s finances, employment, or more complex challenges we’re here to help. We can offer a confidential space to offload, talk things through, and access information and signposting. To arrange a time, please contact the Sue at sue@theberincentre.co.uk, or call the centre.

We have two gardening spaces in the village: The Community Kitchen Garden at The Berin Centre, and the Church Community Garden. With regular gardening groups running on Wednesday 10am-12pm, and the third Saturday of each month (10am-12pm), there’s always lots to do! We also have workshops and events throughout the year. A group for women of any ethnicity or heritage to come together and build diverse friendships - the first Thursday of the month, 6.30pm-8pm.

We often host courses and workshops by other providers, such as the computer course by Abingdon and Witney College. If you’d like to know about upcoming courses when they come available, please contact Sue@theberincentre.co.uk.

We also provide a space for other organisations to deliver their vital services here in Berinsfield. Citizien’s Advice are here every other week on a Wednesday afternoon (contact us to book an appointment), Riverside Counselling see clients here, and we host other services and activities too from time to time.
